Service Description

Arranges and pays for child care for homeless children who are living in a temporary shelter, transitional housing, or on the street who need to access child care.
Families have no co-payments, but may be charged for late pick-up fees.


Days of the Week: Friday; Monday; Thursday; Tuesday; Wednesday
Languages other than English: Interpreter services


Families with children who are homeless in King County and need child care for activities leading to housing stability.
Homelessness is defined as:
- Sleeping in places not fit for humans
- Having a primary nighttime residence which is in a shelter or transitional housing, including a motel using vouchers
- Short-term housing, defined as an inconsistent living arrangement in the home of a family member or friend, as long as not a permanent address and no contribution is made to housing costs
- About to be evicted from housing
