Service Description
Provides backpacks for the homeless. Backpacks are packed with items such as ponchos and food. Volunteers from the church keep the backpacks in their cars and if they see a person in need, they donate the backpack to them. Donates surplus backpacks to Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. Backpacks can also be picked up at St. Stephen the Martyr for those who can make it to their location.

Application Instructions
Call. Staff will work with client in order to provide assistance. Volunteers may be able to deliver backpacks to clients, or clients may be referred to Seattle's Union Gospel Mission if extra backpacks have been recently donated. Clients can also visit St. Stephen the Martyr church to receive a backpack.
