Service Description

Offers education grants to women to help pay for tuition, mandatory fees, and required books and supplies at the approved Washington college or university of their choice. Grants open in May and October.
Education Grantees receive up to $5,000 over a one-year period.

For May 2015:
Applications will be reviewed throughout June and all applicants will be notified of their status by late July. Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to answer calls or emails about an individual’s application status.
If you are selected, grant funding will be available to cover expenses beginning in the Fall 2015 term.

Expectations:
During their WWIN grant periods, Grantees will be expected to:
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or greater each term
- Provide grades, registration, and any revised educational or financial information to WWIN each term
- Complete interim and final surveys
- Participate in WWIN events and activities

Eligibility


Low-income women, ages 18 and older.
Resident of Washington state for the past 12 months.
No restrictions regarding marital or family status.
Eligibility is determined on a case by case basis.

You will need to have been accepted to one of the approved schools, have filled out a FAFSA, and received your award letter prior to applying.
