Class series helps participants adopt the healthy habits needed to prevent Type 2 diabetes. Trained lifestyle coaches lead classes to help participants make better food choices, increase physical activity and learn coping skills to maintain weight loss and healthy lifestyle changes.

People age 18 and over who have a BMI greater than 25 and have been diagnosed with prediabetes, or are at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes.

It is preferred to have an A1c number, fasting plasma glucose number, that indicates prediabetes (A1c 5.7-6.4 & fasting glucose 100-125) or if you are a woman who has been previously diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
